Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Ratna Jewellery, customer satisfaction is important to us. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which cancellations, returns, and refunds are processed.

1. Pre-Launch Phase

During the pre-launch period:

  • The website is available for browsing and enquiries only
  • No payments are collected
  • No orders are dispatched
  • As no monetary transactions occur during this phase, refunds are not applicable.

2. Order Cancellation (Post-Launch)

Once ordering is enabled:

a) Cancellation Before Dispatch

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch
  • To cancel an order, please contact us immediately with your order details
  • Once an order is cancelled successfully, a full refund will be initiated

b) Cancellation After Dispatch

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once dispatched
  • Customers may request a return as per our return policy (if applicable)

3. Returns & Eligibility

Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • The product is unused, unworn, and in original packaging with tags intact

📌 Note: Due to hygiene and safety reasons, jewellery once worn is not eligible for return.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customised or personalised jewellery
  • Made-to-order pieces
  • Products damaged due to misuse or negligence
  • Items returned without original packaging

5. Refund Process

Once a return request is approved:

  • The product will be inspected upon receipt
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method

⏳ Refund Timeline: Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 working days, depending on bank or payment gateway processing times.

6. Refund Deductions

If applicable:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Any damage not reported within the allowed timeframe may lead to partial or no refund

7. Exchange Policy

Currently, exchanges are not supported.

Customers may return eligible products and place a new order.

8. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To request a cancellation or refund, contact us with:

  • Order ID
  • Registered email or phone number
  • Reason for cancellation or return
  • Supporting images (for damaged or incorrect items)

9. Company Rights

Ratna Jewellery reserves the right to:

  • Reject refund or return requests that do not meet policy criteria
  • Update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice

10. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to Indian jurisdiction.
