Returns & Exchanges

At Ratna Jewellery, every piece is carefully crafted and quality-checked before dispatch. Due to the nature and value of jewellery, we follow a strict but transparent returns and exchanges policy.

1. Pre-Launch Phase

During the pre-launch period:

  • Orders and payments may not be enabled
  • No deliveries are made
  • Returns or exchanges are not applicable

2. Return Eligibility (Post-Launch)

A return request will be accepted only if:

  • The product received is damaged, defective, or incorrect
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • The jewellery is unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Original packaging, tags, invoice, and certificates (if any) are intact

📌 Important: Jewellery once worn or altered is not eligible for return.

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Customised or personalised jewellery
  • Made-to-order pieces
  • Earrings or piercing jewellery (for hygiene reasons)
  • Products damaged due to misuse, negligence, or wear & tear
  • Items returned without original packaging or tags

4. Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges are allowed only for damaged or incorrect items
  • Exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability
  • If the same product is unavailable, a refund may be offered as per policy
  • Currently, size or design preference-based exchanges are not supported.

5. Return / Exchange Process

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us with:

  • Order ID
  • Registered email or phone number
  • Clear images/videos showing the issue
  • Brief description of the problem

Our team will review your request and guide you through the next steps.

6. Inspection & Approval

  • Returned items are inspected upon receipt
  • If the return/exchange meets policy conditions, it will be approved
  • If the item fails inspection, it will be shipped back to the customer

7. Refund in Case of Approved Return

  • Approved returns may be refunded to the original payment method
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 working days after inspection
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error is from our side

8. Reverse Pickup

  • Reverse pickup may be arranged depending on location and courier availability
  • If reverse pickup is not available, customers may be asked to self-ship the product
  • Secure packaging is mandatory for all returns

9. Company Rights

Ratna Jewellery reserves the right to:

  • Reject return or exchange requests that do not meet policy conditions
  • Modify or update this policy at any time without prior notice
